Class Gathering...
Hi guys. :D Sean here. First time posting on blog, thought I'll do it since I every time make stupid comments. Don't mind right? XD Wow, looks like the commitee is seriously having a hard time organising the First 1E5 class gathering. Looks pretty hard trying to acommodate to everyone's ideas, but worry about safety, and whether the parents will allow their children to go. I think it's worse when the class and non-commitee members don't corperate with them. I make this comment from the position as a fellow classmate expressing concern for the needs of both the class and the commitee. Like us, they also have the equal amount of homework that we are given, but they have the extra and heavy burden of looking after and being in charge of the class. They are also humans with physical limits and there is no need for us to pose a challenge to the Committee just because we disagree with them. If eveyone could remain a good and positive attitude towards class events unlike a few ingrates (pardon the term used) for try to be a party pooper and scorn the in-charge just because they are insatisfied. What about the feelings of the Committee? They are undertaking a huge task to try and organise a outing concerning safety risk wothout a backup to fall unto. If there comes a scenerio when someone gets injured during the outing, the highest possibility of the Committee absorbing the blame is very high. Not many would blame their own children. The Committee might not have done a perfect job, but who can really do what they undertake perfectly? Is what we are doing, being spoilsports, laidback people, and protesters going to change anything? Should we not give our full coperation and support to the Committee? Anyway I think that they are trying their best already, but the first attempt can never be a perfect. Just like how pwople are vunerable to stress and other stuff. As a class, I think that regardless of whether we are in the Committee or not we should try our best to strive as a class. After all, our class claims that "we are one", but is what we are doing really a result of unity? That is the question that I post to all. No offence has been intended during the writing of this post. |
